Introduction
The Control Engineer reporting to EICT lead will be member of PDE Project Management Team, working collaboratively within the PDE organization, systems, procedures, and methods.
The CONTROL Engineer is responsible and accountable towards PDE for design solution and all engineering activities within Project towards Control discipline. The Control Engineer shall ensure that all relevant work internal and external in these disciplines related to the Project is executed to meet:
– Class, Flag and British Regulatory Requirements as per Regulatory Compliance Plan (RCP)
– Contract Requirements
– Project Specifications, Codes and Standards.
One of the main activities of CONTROL Engineer will involve taking lead for defining, planning and then overlooking execution of SAS system modifications (PCS, PSD, PSD, and F&G) at subsystem level as well as verification and modification of field instrumentation and system and follow up of procurement. CONTROL Engineer shall ensure that all project contracts, subcontracts, and purchase orders prepared in the relevant areas / disciplines for EPC execution of the defined work reflect the required regulatory and standards compliance..
