Function
- Perform structural steel modelling and drawing production using E3D and E3D Draw.
- Carry out structural design work for main steel, secondary steel, and outfitting steel
- Produce fabrication drawings and material take-offs in accordance with project requirements
- Perform self-check and contribute to checking of design work within the team
- Interface with other engineering disciplines to ensure coordinated and constructible solutions.
- Support fabrication follow-up and respond to design-related queries
- Participate as a team member in structural and multidisciplinary project teams.
Requirements
Required Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering
Required Work Experience:
- 5 years of experience as a structural design engineer in engineering offshore projects
Required Qualifications:
- Experience with structural steel modelling and drawing production using E3D and E3D Draw
- Experience with design of main, secondary, and outfitting steel structures.
- Good knowledge of relevant design codes and standards such as DNV, Eurocode, and NORSOK
