Dovre Canada Limited is pleased to offer the following opportunity: Senior Level Finance Professional, located in St. John’s, NL.
*This is a contract position for a duration of approximately 4 months.
Function
Our client is seeking a senior-level finance professional to support their team. This role will have a mix of responsibilities with approximately 70% focused on accounting and 30% on finance/transaction-related activities.
- Lead and oversee accounting activities, including reporting, reconciliations, and compliance.
- Provide financial analysis and strategic support to senior leadership.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
- Ensure adherence to internal controls and corporate governance requirements.
- Collaborate with existing accounting/finance staff to strengthen team operations.
- Lead Audit
Requirements
- CPA designation (or equivalent) strongly preferred.
- Senior-level experience in both accounting and finance functions.
- Transactional experience highly desired
- Proven ability to manage complex projects and deadlines.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
