Quality Compliance Engineer – Kristiansand

Duration: 6 months with the possibility of extension
Function
As a quality compliance engineer, you will be responsible to follow the compliance of the self-performed execution of work and Your role is to ensure the compliance of the management system, whether documentary or on-site. For this, you will support the quality manager in coordination with the QC leader to supervise all control policies and quality activities of the project.
- You will establish the procedure concerning final documentation, ensuring that project documents are present, compliant, and disseminated to the client in a timely manner.
- You will anticipate final documentation needs and perform compliance monitoring by implementing compliance checklists.
- You are responsible for the proper execution of the processes for final documentation, site takeover installation, and handover.
- You will ensure a clear understanding of obligations; to do this, you will support project teams by conducting awareness sessions or training.
- You will ensure that non-conformities raised by the project or by the client are opened and addressed in a timely manner.
- You will alert project management to potential deviations.
- You will oversee, in relation to construction, audits of the project and subcontractors.
- Handling Noncompliance: Investigate compliance violations and take appropriate action to address and rectify issues, including developing corrective action plans.
- You will ensure, in coordination with the construction schedule, that documents are transmitted to the client on time.
- You will establish the necessary KPIs for this monitoring.
Requirements
You are a hands-on person who enjoys being in contact with people. You are pedagogical, rigorous, detail-oriented, and proactive.
Ability to accurately interpret drawings, schematics, and technical specifications
- Engineer Diploma or degree in Civil works
- Certifications related to QA/QC
- ISO standards certification
- 5-10 years of relevant work experience.
- Ability to handle interfaces and work in multidisciplinary teams.
- Fluent in Norwegian and English
- At least 5 years’ experience of civil engineering projects
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills and appropriate tools for the discipline
- Good written verbal and communication skills in English
