QC (Quality Control) leader – Kristiansand
Introduction

Start date: As soon as possible
Duration: 6 months with the possibility of extension
Function
As a lead of quality control site inspector, you will be responsible for: overseeing and ensuring the quality and compliance of site controls according to Customers requirements and contract requirements.
Objectives are to ensure that all materials and products meet high-quality standards in accordance with requirements.
On a daily basis, you will anticipate the controls to be carried out for the upcoming day and the following weeks, in coordination with the work teams and the three-week planning. You will lead the QC team to coordinate the necessary controls.
- You will ensure the completeness and compliance of the controls.
- You will manage the QC teams for the upcoming week based on the three-week planning, in coordination with the work teams and subcontractor teams. You will ensure all site inspection are done and conforms according to the ITP.
- You will manage non conformity, when it’s necessary assist teams in conducting root cause analyses.
- Before the work begins, you will ensure that the necessary documentation to start the work is available and validated.
- You will validate the controls to be performed by subcontractors and work teams, ensuring that the control forms are up to date, and you will identify upcoming needs in coordination with the document specialist.
- You will participate in prestart meeting in coordination with construction team and method team
Requirements
- Diploma or degree in Civil works engineer
- Certifications related to QA/QC
- 5-10 years of relevant work experience
- Ability to handle interfaces and work in multidisciplinary teams.
- At least 5 years’ experience of civil engineering projects
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills and appropriate tools for the discipline
- The ideal candidate is a team player with good verbal and written communication skills in Norwegian and English.
- Strong attention to detail and solid understanding of construction standards and regulations.
- Ability to accurately interpret drawings, schematics, and technical specifications.
- Competence with inspection and documentation software/tools.
