Function
- Overall project execution including financial results
- Establish & monitor schedule and critical issues include risk management.
- Develop overall work scope in cooperation with other functions within the organization and Execution of the project, including issue final documentation
- Manage variation orders
- Participate in the development of proposals for projects, including develop Cost, time and resources estimates for new proposals, therein risk.
- Monitor and report progress and critical issues.
- Business Progress/Status Reporting to management including forecasting.
- Primary customer contact for the duration of the project. May commission, resolve specification issues, handle correspondence, provide periodic updates, ensure customer satisfaction, and negotiate / coordinate with staff as appropriate
- Promote and ensure compliance to company and regulatory EHS requirements & expectations at all time
- Promote and ensure compliance to company and regulatory Quality management systems at all time
- Compliance with project HSE Plan, Quality Plan and related requirements.
- Improvement work including Lessons Learnt session
Role Summary/Purpose:
- Responsible for managing assigned project(s) according to scope of work, schedule and budget.
Requirements
- Proven ability to successfully lead projects
- Proven applied understanding of Project Management concepts on a cross-functional level
- Ability to integrate cross-functional perspectives into problem-solving and issue management
- Proven applied understanding of Contract and Commercial Management
- Ability to identify objectives, resources and procedures of assigned projects
- Proven ability to develop practical or innovative alternative approaches and give recommendations based on business and professional knowledge
- Proven applied knowledge of leadership concepts and techniques eg, work planning, delegating, coaching, evaluating.
- Ability to provide guidance to other employees
- Ability to make decisions with broad parameters
- Ability to effectively facilitate & lead customer meetings
- Master English both written and verbally
Desired Characteristics:
- Degree in Engineering or experience i.e. Automation / Electrical Engineering.
- Basic understanding of electronics, sensor technology and mechanics, EHS and QA.
- Strong industrial experience
- Proven ability to deliver results
