Function
- Financial Controlling: Monitor and control revenues, costs and key financial figures.
- Project Success: Work closely with the Commercial Project Managers (CPM) and project team to ensure successful execution and controlling of the project.
- Project Reporting: Prepare reports, budgets and forecasts for the project, in close collaboration with the CPMs and ensuring alignment between different reporting tools.
- SAP & Reporting Tools: Ensure accurate project controlling and data quality across SAP and related business tools.
- Variance Analysis: Conduct variance analysis by comparing actual figures against planned forecasts and budgets, identifying and offer support in explaining deviations.
- Project Risk Controlling: Support the assessment and registration process of the project risks.
- Claims Support: Assist the CPM team during the claim substantiation process and consolidating claim costs.
- Invoicing & Cash Flow: Ensure timely invoicing and cash flow management, contributing to the financial health of the project.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate cross-functionally with Business Controlling, Project Management and other departments to ensure financial accuracy, process alignment and transparency.
Requirements
Education & Experience:
- 1-4 years experience as a Project Controller.
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance or equivalent.
- Experience from international business operations is an advantage.
Technical Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of SAP Project Module is a strong advantage.
- Advanced Excel skills, PowerBI is considered a plus.
- Ability to navigate complex systems, utilize reporting tools effectively and apply technical expertise.
- Excellent overall IT competence and innovation driven mindset.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken. Norwegian is an advantage.
