Function

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies with a strong emphasis on cost reduction and value creation.
  • Conduct market screening and maintain excellent market knowledge to identify cost-effective suppliers and solutions.
  • Consider and draft different contract formats towards suppliers in collaboration with Legal.
  • Establishing contract templates for project execution.
  • Prepare inquiry documents for major equipment and services in close cooperation with engineering. 
  • Perform commercial evaluations of quotations, and issue contracts and purchase orders
  • Monitor and ensure delivery within the agreed timeframe, cost, and quality.
  • Handle risks assessments and deviations
  • Ensure all activities comply with company’s guidelines, work instructions, and procedures.
  • Continuously work on improvements to reduce internal and external risks and costs, enhance delivery quality, and strengthen collaboration.
  • Contribute to innovating Ways of Working to achieve new cost cut requirements from Client

Requirements

Required Education:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
  • Relevant subjects: SCM, Procurement, Logistics, Engineering

Required Work Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience

Required Qualifications: 

  • Strong written and oral communication skills, Norwegian and English
  • Strong commercial mindset
  • Professional, independent and team player
  • Demonstrating a high level of collaboration skills
  • Proven experience with strategic work, highly strategic mindset
  • Proven experience with contracts and contract set up
  • Flexible, and otherwise complying with the company’s values
  • Working in a structured, systematic and efficient manner- High level of proactiveness, being self driven and contributing towards defining new ways of working in EPC projects
