Principle Project Engineer and Control Systems – Bergen

Introduction

Location: Bergen 
Duration: 01/03/2025 – 28/02/2026

Function

  • Modernizing and streamlining our installed base to ensure stability and efficiency with top technology and long-lasting solutions
  • Technical responsible of engineering activities, testing and site installation (onshore and offshore)
  • Ensuring that engineering activities within projects are efficiently and cost-effectively executed in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards and safety requirements
  • Technical leader of project teams
  • Travelling must be expected
  • The technology will typically be 800xA, Advant, Safeguard, Harmony/Symphony+ and Melody.

Requirements

  • B.Sc/M.Sc. in relevant field (automation, cybernetics, IT, process control or similar)
  • Minimum 10 years relevant experience from Norwegian energy industry
  • Strong overall knowledge of control systems – Strong commercial awareness
  • Strong communication skills in English, oral and written.
  • Norwegian is an advantage.
