Function

The PIMS Work Prep Lead is responsible for overseeing the preparation and quality assurance of work packs within the Project Information Management System (PIMS). This role ensures that all work packs are developed, reviewed, and approved in alignment with project milestones, technical requirements, and completion strategies. The Work Prep Lead acts as a key interface between engineering, construction, commissioning, and operations teams to ensure readiness for execution and handover and will be reporting to the Offshore Hook-up Manager on Stord.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of work pack preparation in PIM for the hook up scope for Hugin A topside
  • Closely interact with AKSO Fab.Engineering for data transfer from MIPS to PIMS for work packages and scope transfer from onshore to offshore
  • Ensure work packs are complete, accurate, and compliant with project standards and procedures.
  • Collaborate with discipline engineers, construction leads, and commissioning teams to gather required input.
  • Monitor progress and report on work pack status, readiness, and bottlenecks.
  • Support digitalization and continuous improvement initiatives related to work pack processes.
  • Ensure traceability and documentation of changes and revisions in PIMS.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, project management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in project completion, commissioning, or construction within the oil & gas, energy, or infrastructure sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of PIMS or similar project information management systems.
  • Experience in work pack development and execution planning.
  • Proficient in MS Office and digital collaboration tools.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills.

The position is a not a rotational position and main location will be Stord.
