Function

  • Are you a skilled electrical engineer with experience within HVDC and HVAC offshore wind projects? 
  • We are seeking an Electrical Senior Engineer to support study and tendering phases for HVDC and HVAC topside offshore wind projects. The right candidate will have the opportunity to develop his/her skills within electrical engineering in a large international working environment.

Typical tasks include:

  • Electrical design for study and tendering phases for HVDC & HVAC offshore wind projects.
  • Verification of design from previous study phases
  • Development of philosophies, single line diagrams, load list and cable list according to company specifications, Client requirements, applicable laws and regulations
  • Participate and arrange meetings, workshops and reviews for electrical discipline
  • Interface to other disciplines, suppliers and client 
  • Possibility to continue to later project phases, such as FEED and EPC

Requirements

Required Work Experience:

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience from electrical system engineering
  • Experience from Offshore Wind projects is preferred.
  • Experience from early-phase / conceptual Electrical system design a benefit

Required Education: 

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher

Required Qualifications: 

  • Efficient communicator, who communicates well in English, both orally and in writing
  • Cooperative working attitude and acceptance for multicultural team environment
  • Ability to work independently as well as in team
  • Systematic and accurate, with high loyalty to deadline and quality requirements 
  • Proactive, seeking advice and share own experiences with others
