Introduction

Role Summary 
The Commissioning Mechanical/Utility Engineer reporting to Commissioning Mechanical Utility Lead, will be an integral part of PDE Project Team, working collaboratively within the PDE organization, systems, plans, procedures, and methods. 

The Mechanical/Utility Engineer is responsible for monitoring the quality of discipline related documentation on design solutions and all engineering activities within EPC towards Mechanical/Utility disciplines. The Mechanical/Utility Engineer shall ensure that all necessary information to execute commissioning and start-up is made available from all Contractor side. 

Mechanical/Utility Engineer shall ensure that the completion system (PIMS) has the necessary data available to execute system and sub-system definition, have P&ID ready for system boundary mark-up, and information available to develop commissioning procedures. 

The Mechanical/Utility Engineer shall also review all FAT- and SAT-procedure and vendor commissioning procedures. Mechanical/Utility Engineer shall also review vendor preservation procedures. A close relation with Engineering, Construction and MC will be required to ensure alignment on plans and progress. Key activities to coordinate will be PFDs/UFDs, P&IDs, boundary drawings, process data sheets, plans, and close follow up of field activities

Introduction

 Role Summary 
The Commissioning Mechanical/Utility Led reporting to Commissioning Manager will be an integral part of PDE Project Management Team, working collaboratively within the PDE organization, systems, procedures, and methods. This role has been identified as a “Key Position” within Rosebank project organization of PDE.

The Commissioning Mechanical/Utility Lead is responsible for monitoring the quality of discipline related documentation on design solutions and all engineering activities within EPC towards Mech/Utility disciplines. The Commissioning Mechanical /Utility Lead shall ensure that all necessary information to execute commissioning and start-up is made available from all Contractor side. 

Commissioning Mechanical/Utility Lead shall ensure that the completion system (PIMS) has the necessary data available to execute system and sub-system definition, have P&ID ready for system boundary mark-up, and information available to develop commissioning procedures. 

The Commissioning Mechanical/Utility Lead shall also review all FAT- and SAT-procedure and vendor commissioning procedures. Commissioning Mechanical/Utility Lead shall also review vendor preservation procedures. A close relation with the Engineering Process Lead will be required to ensure alignment on plans and progress. Key activities to align will be all related interface activities with all Process systems.
