Function
We are looking for a skilled automation engineer to work in a large oil & gas FEED project consisting of new platform design, brownfield modification work and interface to several contractual interfaces. The right candidate will have the opportunity to develop his/her skills within engineering of Automation systems, working with the PDCS system design.
Tasks include:
- System Design activities for Automation interface to electrical equipment as appointed by automation group lead
- Designing solutions according to Client requirements ensuring global design solutions across contractual interfaces
- Design of automation interface to Electrical equipment packages in a FEED phase
- Follow up vendors and vendor technical documentation, including planning of package engineering activities
- Ensure that vendor and engineering information required for progress of the work is identified and
- communicated to the project
- Interface to other disciplines, suppliers and client
- Perform and complete engineering documents and data registers
- Offshore survey may be required
Requirements
Required Education:
- Bachelor or higher
Required Work Experience:
- Minimum 10 years’ experience from automation engineering in the projects
- Minimum 6 years’ Experience from automation design for electrical interfaces, incl knowledge of IEC61850.
- Experience and thorough knowledge of automation design and networks according to relevant standards such as NORSOK, ATEX, PTIL, and IEC
Required Qualifications:
- Efficient communicator, who communicate well in English – Both orally and in writing
- Cooperative working attitude and acceptance for multicultural team environment
- Ability to work independently as well as in team
- Systematic and accurate, with high loyalty to deadline and quality requirements
- Proactive, seeking advice and share own experiences with others
Required Certificates:
- FSE-course, valid through the engagement
- Ex-course, valid through the engagement
